Terms of Use
By creating an account or using the Gathered and Grounded Women web, iOS, or Android apps (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. The covenant (community standards)
- Treat other sisters with dignity and patience.
- What's shared in a Circle stays in the Circle.
- Do not use the Service to sell, spam, or promote unrelated agendas.
- Do not impersonate anyone — yourself, another user, or the ministry.
- Do not post unlawful, violent, sexually explicit, or hateful content.
- If you witness abuse, report it. If you're being harmed, tell us and the authorities.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate the covenant or these Terms.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of journal entries, prayers, notes, and messages you create. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to store and display that content solely to operate the Service. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models.
5. Donations
The “Give” feature accepts charitable donations through Stripe. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable except as required by law. If Gathered and Grounded Women is registered as a 501(c)(3), your receipt will reflect tax-deductible status; otherwise it will not.
6. Video calls
Circle live calls run on the Daily.co platform. By joining, you consent to your camera and microphone being transmitted to other Circle members during the call. We do not record calls.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is.” Gathered and Grounded Women is a discipleship platform, not a substitute for professional counseling, medical, legal, or crisis services. If you are in crisis, call 988 (US) or your local emergency number.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gathered and Grounded Women and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State where Gathered and Grounded Women is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that State.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
